Wow, really. So with no GG what is the check on the dictator ship of the majority. No one has done it but they can dissolve Parliament on their own if they have do. It would cause chaos but they still could if the situation demanded.
It wouldn't likely save any money as there would still need to be a head of state. If anything, it could actually end up costing more as a fully Canadian head of state would probably have higher expenses for state visits and the like.

I'm sure Western Canada would just love having a Head of State, with veto power, that is elected from Ontario or Quebec, but usually Quebec.
